FoodButchers

The Friendly Butcher

The emphasis at this lively shop is on family and community; prepared dishes keep kids and food sensitivities in mind. Meat is local (and some organic), and preservative-free cold cuts are made in-house. Freezers are stocked with oven-ready entrées, meat pies and soups. In the display cooler, salads are the perfect companions to a plump Mennonite rotisserie chicken. A selection of produce, Ace breads, sauces, Phipps desserts and wild or organic fish round out the options. In warmer months, moms and kids come by for the daily barbecue lunch held on the patio.
