Charlie's Meat and Seafood

Just north of Chinatown East, this sparkling butchery is the place to find great deals on big cuts of meat. Flank steak, oxtail and pork loin are fresh and plentiful, as are the less mass-market-friendly cuts, such as organ meats and pigs’ feet. Bins of chicken parts make the best stock. It’s a family business and very much a part of the neighbourhood; you’re just as likely to hear customers gossiping with Charlie as buying his quality meats. There are also 11 outposts in No Frills stores across the city. Closed Monday.
