Grainfields

True to its name, this bakery uses mostly whole grains. Its handmade breads are prepared predominantly from organic flour and sourdough. And each of the 23 varieties is also free of sugar, milk and fat. The Markham location is closed on weekends, when owner Henry Chen sells his fresh baked goods at the St. Lawrence Market.
