Branding itself a “conscious community centre,” this club is adding to its long list of perks. In addition to 80 yoga and Pilates classes taught by 20 certified instructors, director Carmela Savoia is building a wealth of workshops, belly dancing and Toronto’s first Anusara yoga class. The spacious, newly renovated studio is based on ecological principles—it has allergen-free paint and bamboo flooring in the exercise rooms. Popular workshops include restorative yoga for insomnia, pre- and postnatal women, and menopause.
How much:
single classes $20, 10 classes $150; first week free for new members; other packages available.
