Housed in a renovated Victorian in Yorkville, the Healing Arts Centre is one of the city’s most beautiful yoga studios. Natural light spills onto blond bamboo floors, and the top-floor studio has windows facing north and south. This is where Suzanne Fitzpatrick—a former dancer with the National Ballet of Canada—teaches Iyengar hatha yoga to all types of students, including pre- and postnatal women, and people with injuries. A new basement studio for Tai Chi and yoga boasts heated bamboo flooring.
How much:
yoga, six introductory classes $100, 20 classes $250; Tai Chi, one class per week $60 per month, two classes per week $100 per month.
