Monica Voss and Tama Soble practise hatha yoga (inspired by Vanda Scaravelli) at this Annex studio. The emphasis is on breath, grounding, mobility and elongation of the spine, but there are specialty yoga classes, too: restorative, yoga for kids, teacher development and others. Though the small size means the studio and change rooms can get squishy, teachers are impressively dedicated to their work.

first class $10, drop-in classes $19, 10-class pass $175, unlimited classes $1,000 per year.
