Sunny Horvath’s work is semi-private or one-on-one, which means you pay more, but get a better handle on your body’s own needs. It also means you’ll stick with it longer, because the program is tailored specifically for you. “It’s a friendly, warm environment,” Horvath says. A modern dancer with Stott training, she applies both her dance training and yoga philosophy to Pilates. The process seems to work. Clients often come in to address very specific complaints, such as neck pain or poor posture, but many graduate to the more general Pilates goals of less stress and a sleek, streamlined physique.
How much:
introductory class $27, single class $54; package discounts available.
