Want your body to run like a well-oiled machine? Then take a Pilates or Kripalu yoga class with Caprice Boisvert—a former mechanical engineer. After years of working a day job in engineering and teaching yoga part-time, Boisvert decided to follow her heart—first teaching at other gyms, then opening her own place in Leslieville three years ago. Shunning sweaty, high-intensity sessions, Boisvert applies an analytical perspective. Using a careful, building-blocks approach, she focuses on teaching people to move efficiently and feel better. Private sessions are available, and classes never exceed six students, allowing her to observe closely and advise in detail.
How much:
one-hour drop-in $15, private sessions $70 per hour, 10-class pass $120.
