At DCC, a 2,400-square-foot loft-style studio, machines are outnumbered by unusual props: concrete blocks, safety cones, and an old Russian weight implement called a kettlebell. Clients kick soccer balls, hang from monkey bars, make like Spider-Man on hanging nets, climb ropes, jump in sandboxes, pull iron sleds, curl giant water bottles and run around on 600 square feet of FieldTurf. The general idea is to have fun and learn proper movement while improving speed, flexibility and stability.
How much:
initial assessment $135, semi-private training $50–$135 per month, one-on-one training $65–$110 per hour.
