If you’ve ever watched Demi Moore work the pole in Striptease and thought, Hey, I could do that, this is the workout for you. Since opening two years ago, Flirty Girl has been helping women release their inner sex goddesses and tighten their tummies (or butts, or both) at the same time. And don’t panic—all parallels to a real strip club end with the pole. The warm, welcoming, women-only studio (with three separate areas for group instruction) is part boot camp, part sorority house. All exercise is done in class format, and there’s plenty of variety: Basic Boxing for Babes, Belly Dance Boot Camp, Flirty Fight Club (think Demi with a punching bag instead of a dancing pole), Lap Dancing, Power Yoga and Coyote Ugly—where brave participants actually get up and dance on a bar—are just a few of the many drop-in, sign-up or weekend workshop options. Change rooms are predictably pristine.
How much:
drop-in classes $20, packages $90–$280.
