Tracking down the city’s only all-male health club is like an adventure out of a Charlie Kaufman movie—the sign in the main-floor lobby lists floors five to 10; the Cambridge Club is located on the 11th. Inside, the exclusive vibe prevails, fostered by plush navy blue carpets and oak trim. Squash and other athletic activities are as important as the scotch and wine tastings, and golf and tennis tournaments. Members take advantage of a rooftop track, the Sheraton Centre pool and gold-standard cardio, strength training and stretching machines.
How much:
initiation fee $500–$1,000, annual fee $1,200–$1,995.
