After an $18-million centre-wide renovation three years ago, this Annex fixture positively sparkles. Newly laid with rubber flooring, the basement weight room is stocked with free weights and about 40 pieces from Cybex’s new Eagle line, while the shiny new spinning studio holds 28 bikes. Cardio equipment includes machines by Star Trac and Life Fitness, as well as Precor ellipticals. The five-lane saltwater pool remains a popular haunt, while the old-school gym is favoured by b-ball and floor hockey devotees.
