Outside it’s a hulking concrete monolith, inside a dizzying maze. But don’t be discouraged, the facilities are incredible. This U of T workout locale has an eight-lane Olympic-sized pool, plus two others. You’ll also find everything from a golf cage to a gymnastics facility to a field house with a 200-metre track, plus four squash courts. Weight training and cardio equipment is plentiful, and people with special needs are accommodated. So are older folks: though it’s on campus, all ages are welcome. While you must be 18 or older to be in the gym, there are lots of programs for little ones.
How much:
no initiation fee, monthly fee $69, annual fee $605.
