Fitness & WellnessGyms: Full-Service

Extreme Fitness, Yonge

With its thumping club tunes and young, good-looking clientele, Extreme Fitness certainly provides motivation to work up a sweat. Aerobics are hugely popular—everything from a class called Butts and Guts to Brazilian Fight to Zen Yoga. Members can choose from 85 different classes. Separate studios for spinning and aerobics are tucked away in the back, along with a narrow 18-metre lap pool. At the front, the bulk of the cardio machines are arranged in front of TVs, though new elliptical machines and treadmills have TVs built into them. Strength machines ring the cardio area.

How much:
no initiation fee, monthly fee $44–$96.
