In such a pristine setting it almost seems rude to sweat. Furniture empress Beatrix Nienkämper has christened Balance “the jewel.” She would—her eponymous furniture decorates the swanky front lounge. The equipment includes cardio machines; due to the exclusive membership, there are no lineups. The owners are also personal trainers: Devon McGregor and Tony Mark are on-site full-time. Reservations are taken up to a week in advance for the limited classes. Change rooms are immaculate. An on-site clinic offers physio and an RMT.
How much:
initiation fee $500, monthly fee $125–$150.
