The grande dame of the sporty Yonge and Eligible crowd still stops traffic—on a Saturday morning, queues for the parking lot are a nightmare. But you can’t keep people away from their high-end sporting goods, from Salomon X-Wing Tornado skis ($799–$1,050) and snowboards by Burton ($500–$1,050) to tennis racquets by Wilson K Factor ($179–$299) and custom-made bikes by Santa Cruz Blur ($3,000). The service is excellent, too: racquets can be strung in less than two hours.
