This store specializes in indoor training gear: free weights, stability balls, exercise mats and, most prominently, treadmills and elliptical machines. With 35 stores across Canada, Fitness Depot buys its merchandise in bulk; this enables them to keep prices low year-round, on both mid-line (Pacemaster) and top-flight (Precor) machinery. Whether it’s Boxing Day or deepest summer—a notoriously sluggish time for equipment sales—you’re unlikely to find cardio gear cheaper anywhere else. And on the off-chance that you do, Fitness Depot will match the lower price. All that’s left for you to do is pinpoint the apparatus that best suits your body shape and conditioning needs.
