This is one of the city’s key destinations for vintage clothing, jewellery, antique accessories (for both home and fashion) and furnishings. Stock ranges from enamelled purses from the turn of the century and elaborate minaudières to feathered cocktail hats and haute couture standouts (such as a black Bob Maki sequined gown at $1,500). But the main draw is the vintage costume jewellery—from early Victorian to late 1970s. Long display cases show off the designer gems: from parures by Miriam Haskell and Cartier to crystal earrings and jellied fruit pins by the likes of Hobe and Schreiner. The selection isn’t limited to designer names; Murray also cherry-picks estate pieces such as Victorian jewellery.
