In Shelley Pulak’s tiny store, Pierre Cardin, Yves Saint Laurent and Pucci share space with clothes of lesser lineage (but equally classic style) from the ’40s to ’80s. Cashmere cardigans go for $85 to $120; wide elastic belts in metallics, navy and black (from the ’70s and ’80s) go for $10 to $30; and stacked-heel boots from the ’70s and ’80s are $75 to $120. Also popular are modern scooter girl dresses ($48–$65), wool coats, faux–leopard print jackets and shrugs. Pulak carries a wide range of 1960s mod-style shifts and dance-ready disco dresses from the 1970s ($48–$60). New stock arrives every Wednesday, so it’s worth stopping in often to snap up the latest finds.
