Owned by vintage clothing guru Elizabeth Mason, this girlie shop is a celebrity favourite (Renée Zellweger and Ashlee Simpson have both been spotted); the red carpet is often a parade of gowns from the Beverly Hills branch. But the Toronto shop dresses the stars too: in the television movie Shades of Black, Lara Flynn Boyle (as Barbara Amiel) wears Lacroix suits from the designer resale section, which includes other such labels as Gucci, Prada, Chanel and Pucci. On one visit, a beaded black Donna Karan cocktail sundress was $895, and a Roberto Cavalli snakeskin print jacket was priced at $225.
