Owned by vintage clothing guru Elizabeth Mason, this girlie shop is a celebrity favourite (Renée Zellweger and Ashlee Simpson have both been spotted here) and gowns from the Beverly Hills branch routinely parade down the red carpet. But the Toronto shop dresses the stars, too: in the television movie Shades of Black, Lara Flynn Boyle (as Barbara Amiel) wears Lacroix suits from the designer resale section, which also stocks Gucci, Prada, Chanel and Pucci. On one visit, an elegant grey tweed Chanel two-piece suit from 2004 was marked down to $2,295 from $10,000, and a statement-making 1980s Lacroix lace one-arm ruched dress went for $895.
