Artful displays, carefully selected tchotchkes and a hipster-approved collection of clothes and accessories reveal the trademark hand of a skilled stylist. The merchandise—such as a recut velvet blazer ($70), Burberry trench ($150) and a strapless ’60s silk tent dress ($80)—is hand-picked by owner Kealan Sullivan. This place offers one of the city’s best selections of vintage footwear: heels of all shapes and sizes range from $35 to $70; boots go for $50 to $150. Men’s gear runs toward the Roots-esque: think jeans and plaid shirts. There are lots of authentic vintage T-shirts ($10–$40); in-house label Butcher Tailor includes originals, as well as recut vintage pieces, for $40 to $200.
