Possibly one of the most traumatic experiences for a woman is the annual swimsuit purchase. This north Toronto shop helps ease the pain. The staff double as personal shoppers, starting with a custom fitting, then bringing you a selection of suits that complement your body type and taste. Don’t be deceived by the small number of suits displayed in the entrance area: there are four floors of stock in hundreds of styles and colours; sizes range from 4 to 26, cups from AA to J, prices from $70 to $400. Popular lines include Gideon Oberson, Shan, Panache and Seafolly. Appointments are recommended; with a full-time seamstress on staff, alterations are always available.
