This neighbourhood has more spas per block than most, so Novo Spa aims to set itself apart with a host of treatments for two (from $208) in a private couples’ suite. This includes a rain forest cascade shower, couples’ steam, aromatherapy massages, and luxurious spa facials. In addition to standard spa offerings (manicures from $30, waxing from $16), Novo steps it up as one of the few spas in Canada to offer Thai-inspired steam-bed body therapy ($98). The 75-minute treatment involves exfoliation, a body wrap and hot stone aromatherapy massage while you’re enclosed in a colour therapy steam cabin.
