Anyone who can turn a Brazilian wax into a pleasant experience deserves a gold medal. Beloved aesthetician Lorraine Hamilton’s artistry and skill (she’s a perfectionist with ingrowns) have led to a loyal following. However, facials—complete with neck, shoulder and arm massage—are the spa’s true specialty. Favourites include the oxygenating anti-spot Absolute Brightening facial ($135); the Hydrating Facial, which combats the effects of stress, pollution and frequent air travel ($125); and the Maintenance Facial ($75), designed to banish breakouts. Relaxing manis and pedis are well-priced (30-minute express mani $20, 30-minute express pedi $50).
