Anyone who can turn a Brazilian wax into a pleasant experience deserves a gold medal. Beloved aesthetician Lorraine Hamilton’s artistry and skill (she’s a perfectionist with ingrowns) have led to a loyal following. However, facials—complete with hand, arm and foot massage—are the spa’s specialty. Favourites include the oxygenating anti-spot Absolute Brightening facial ($135); the Hydrating Facial ($125), which combats the effects of stress, pollution and frequent air travel; and the Teen Facial ($75), designed to banish breakouts. The spa’s gleaming white S-shaped corridor winds past tranquil treatment rooms, leading to the mani-pedi station (45-minute mani $30; one-hour pedi $60). Another speciality is the New Mom massage and full-body wrap, designed to restore elasticity to slackened skin. Special men-only nights feature wine tastings and select spa services.
