From a privileged perch across the street from the ROM’s massive Crystal, a crew of youthful and confident stylists turns out fashionable dos for less than you’d expect to pay on this stretch of the Mink Mile (men’s cuts $46–$78; women’s cuts $57–$97). The U.K.-based chain, which has hundreds of locations around the globe, is rather like the H&M of salons: an in-house education director teaches staff the finer points of producing hot new looks.
