Not afraid to shun trends in favour of individual needs and lifestyles, Lid Lounge stylists discover who you are before taking scissors to your tresses. Co-owners Sunil Prakash and Dean Villeneuve cite their world travels as influencing the “anything-goes” philosophy behind the salon, so show up with an open mind. Aveda and Fudge products rule the shelves and colour enthusiasts will relish the spectrum of Wella shades offered up. Try stylist Emma Rose Bennett if your curly locks are driving you mad (she’s an expert with waves). Cuts start around $55 (for men and women), colour from $45, highlights from $75.
Hours:
M–F 10–6, Sa 10–5.
