Despite the pedigree of its address, Blyss feels welcoming and unpretentious. It’s a light and airy space, so relaxed that clients often show up for appointments in their sweats (albeit from Lululemon). Cuts, which start at $45 with a junior stylist (senior stylists from $75), reflect the ambience: sophisticated yet fuss-free (any request can be accommodated). But most regulars start off with a little enhancement to their hair shade. At the colour bar, technicians show clients swatches and mix dyes. Full colour starts at $65, and partial highlights from $95.
