Proprietor Roger Janes mixes vintage macho with new-age mellow in his tiny 97-square-foot two-chair barbershop. Opened in November 2007, the wainscotted burgundy room in Little Portugal features kitschy stag-head coat hooks and retro matador relief paintings. Customers (all men, to be clear) peruse ’70s-era Playboy mags while waiting for a haircut or head shave ($17), or a beard trim ($7). Scalp and neck massages are complimentary.
