This swank salon resembles a chi-chi slumber party for grown-ups. Stylists trade barbs and banter above the din of the hair dryers, but they’re serious about hair. Eponymous owner and top stylist Allan Parss, who snips bobs using only a razor, runs a class-act salon: calm white and grey tiles, luxurious wash-station chairs, and personal TVs for when you’re parked under the dryer. Before they start snipping (men’s cuts from $45, women’s from $65), stylists consult on looks, from the low-key to the outrageous.
