Arie Assaraf, TNT’s mastermind, expanded his boutique empire to hit on the burgeoning market in luxe duds for tykes. The favourites among girls are cheeky graphic Ts by Junk Food, chic velour track suits by So Nikki, and bedazzled tops made from recycled varsity apparel (such as team uniforms) by Claude. Boys veer toward Kingsley’s rock ’n’ roll–inspired Ts, and tattoo artist Ed Hardy’s line of edgy clothing and footwear. Girls get pretty in shoes from Michael Kors ($125–$150). Designer denim includes options from True Religion, Rock & Republic and Earnest Sewn’s kids’ line, the cutely named Lit’l Earnie.
