Originating on the west coast, this chain now boasts 80 stores across the country; the specialty is reasonably priced clothing for newborns to 12-year-olds. Staples include girls’ ribbed cotton Ts in a multitude of colours (from $7) and boys’ ribbed Ts with tennis collars ($8). Faded denim capris come embroidered with butterflies, and zip-off pants are made of weighty blue cotton (all $15). Older boys might wear a khaki cotton shirt with a dragon motif ($17).
