Every once in a while, a young diva in the making tries on an outfit at Pam Chorley’s shop and, beguiled, flatly refuses to take it off. And who can blame her? Every dress is available in just about any silky fabric (from organza to sateen), in punchy leopard prints or such colours as pink, red, lilac or white—not to mention embroidered, sequined, or prettily trimmed with roses or butterflies. What’s not on the rack can be whipped up on custom order. Chorley also carries tiaras, jewellery, glittery wands ($4–$40) and colourful, sparkly slippers ($44), plus shawls and tutus (from $24).
