In the back of this little shop, proprietor Sylvie Monge sews her own line of clothing for tykes of both genders up to four years old. Her pants, dresses, skirts and hats (all $25–$49) offer quirky and pretty designs in washable fabrics. Outside labels include Alphabet, Parade and Billy & Elli; Go Go sandals and sneakers ($45) come in more than a dozen funky styles. One hundred per cent cotton InQb8 quilts ($60) have secret messages, such as “Irreplaceable Treasure,” stitched inside. Handmade, wooden and European toys abound, including woollen animal puppets by Samii ($34) and medieval figures by Papo.
