This 18-year-old shop is as laid-back as its neighbourhood. Featuring a mind-boggling—if jumbled—selection of clothing, it carries everything from bathing suits to practical, well-priced casualwear from Mexx, Krickets and Roxy. Sizes for boys range from newborn to 18; girls’ sizes go up to 16. Best bets are for tiny tots: Hatley’s matching raincoats ($40) and rubber boots ($36) come in animal prints, and Puma sneakers (newborn to kids’ size 10) go for $50. And don’t miss the back of the store, where you’ll find bargains aplenty.
