For the past 37 years, Mary Mahoney’s shop has lured a vintage demographic that either waxes nostalgic for the Emerald Isle or appreciates the workmanship in its robust linens and tweeds. The majority of goods are imported and certifiably Irish: from Claddagh rings and Celtic-themed wedding bands to ladies’ separates, not to mention a renowned selection of linens and knitwear. For haute couture, there are hats from royal milliner Philip Treacy, who also designs headgear for Boy George.
