This younger sister to Danforth institution Labiri Shoes opened in 2005 to help dress stylish women look good from the ankles up. The sophisticated boutique, with its zebra-skin rugs and sleek Barcelona chairs, is easy on the eyes and chock full of fashionable options. You’ll find luxe daywear from Tara Jarmon, Valentino Red and M. Missoni, statement pieces from Development, the newest must-have denim from Joe’s Jeans and newcomer Rich and Skinny, and (for evening) the perfect cocktail dress from Milly. In addition to buying for the shoe store, co-owner Mary Labiri studied fashion design before bringing the most sought-after ready-to-wear labels to Toronto’s east end. New additions include lovely dresses from Alice & Olivia ($250–$500) and printed jersey dresses from T-Bags ($250–$350).
