This shop is the brainchild of Montreal designer François Beauregard. Combining the formulaic approach of the Gap with the cachet of its hometown roots, this is Canada’s answer to American Apparel. Comfy cotton-bamboo-blend hoodies ($89–$120) and well-cut T-shirts ($20–$49) in bright colours make up the bulk of the business. But it’s the trend-oriented pieces that demand a closer look. Baggy deep-V-neck cardigans ($89) and feminine high-waisted pencil skirts ($89) add élan, while a short, flared blazer is a great look for fall.
