Splendid ain’t just one of the labels at this quirky spot: it may well also describe the fashion-savvy regulars, some of whom frequent the shop several times a week. There are no elaborate or seductive merchandising schemes, just a handful of racks heavily laden with such goodies as Ella Moss dresses ($165–$250) and ever-popular Gypsy 05 maxi-dresses ($165–$250). AG skinny jeans (from $199) and slimming tanks from Yummie Tummie ($80–$95) are also faves. Friendly staff cater to rookies and regulars alike, quickly consulting the computer and fetching styles and sizes from the stockroom.
