Touch any garment—from a crewneck Henley to a cashmere coat—and you’ll immediately understand that Marlowe is less about being on trend than producing understated, sophisticated must-haves that will last. The house line, featuring lots of cashmere, is unapologetically minimalist. Tissue-weight cardigans (from $825) and crewnecks (from $600) are considered “second-skin,” whereas a twin-set ($1,300) manages to be slim-fitting without being too tight. New knitwear colours—shades of butter, nectar, ice blue, violet, pomegranate and citrus—keep things fresh in superfine wools. The timeless fine-wool raincoat ($1,895) continues to be a refined best-seller, while a lightweight raincoat in a white cashmere-silk blend ($3,195) is sure to dazzle come spring.
