Young professionals clamour for Trish Ewanika’s line of flawlessly designed, quality clothing that make for perfect investment pieces. While the majority of her pieces draw from a neutral palette of black, off-white and grey, the designer adds a few key accent colours each season: spring brings a range of soft yellows, greens and blues for added zing. The clothes—including loose tapered pants and sporty dresses with a cinched elastic belt (from $325)—favour understated elegance over showiness. Having moved her shop from College Street, Ewanika now complements her collection with hard-to-find necklaces from Toronto’s Maryam Keyhani and headpieces from Lilliput Hats.
