Like its older sister, 119 Corbó, this 13-year-old boutique has made some changes, namely an extra six feet at the back for showcasing shoes and boots, thereby allowing the apparel to hold its own up front. Body-hugging separates from Plein Sud, form-flattering designs from Robert Rodriguez, and Barbara Bui’s power pieces ($175–$800) add instant sex appeal to the tamest wardrobe. Acne and Habitual denim (both from $225) are less ubiquitous than other brands. In footwear, lines are decidedly fashion forward: Rusconi, Kors and Donald J. Pliner.
