Next to Nicolas Kalatzis’s expansive men’s boutique is a women’s annex, where two long walls showcase high-end attire. Clothes horses flock to the offbeat work of Paul Smith, whose ladies’ suits (from $1,400) and shirts (from $295) show off exuberant colour accents. Marithe and François Girbaud is another line that defies mainstream tastes, with its edgy, embellished pieces. The store channels an eccentric Euro style, carrying black Gunex pants (from $495), Le Marais luxurious cashmere jackets ($2,795) and comfortable cuffed cotton capri pants by Aspesi ($495).
