Fashion & BeautyWomenswear: Play

Mirabelli

After 21 years in the business, Canadian designer Franco Mirabelli certainly knows how to flatter the female form. His sophisticated tailoring is best described as contemporary and feminine with an elegant European slant; unusual details are another trademark. The dominant colours this year are soft dove grey and pewter. For work, there’s wide leg stretch pants ($195), an ivory roll-collared jacket ($345), or a wrap dress with an eye-catching criss-cross neckline ($345). In denim, the high-waisted skinny jean comes in cute pinstripes ($225).
