Forget schoolgirl crushes on disposable fashion. The artful set-up of this wee Queen West boutique presents mature pieces with which to fall in love. It might require some practice to get the hang of silk dresses and shirts ($85–$400) by Montreal’s Complex Geometries or leather-and-metal body jewellery by Bliss Lau, all of which can be wrapped and tucked and draped in a variety of ways. Silk shirts ($250–$450) by local Adrienne Butikofer might seem pretty but unsubstantial, or bits of vintage jewellery a mere charming novelty. Believe us, these clothes have long-term staying power—one day, looking in the mirror, you’ll realize it would be impossible to live without them.
