Since sisters Kristina Bozzo and Melanie Talbot started their line of separates and dresses five years ago, they’ve caught the eye of the fickle fashion media and earned spots at stores across the country. Now they’ve got a Parkdale store to call their own. The spiffily spare corner location is a perfect foil for the clothing’s understated elegance. Bozzo and Talbot trained as dancers, and their love of movement is reflected in such simple, not-too-revealing pieces as strapless satin trapeze dresses; staple knee-length cape coats and cropped jackets with bracelet-length sleeves; high-waisted, loose-fitting culottes and trousers; and subtly sexy tulip skirts. While fabrics are sourced from Europe, prices haven’t yet reached Bloor Street heights: expect to pay about $198 for a day dress; $69 to $80 for a tank top.
