Super-femme designer Betsey Johnson has a successful, unflinching formula: girlie, frilly, ruffly and fun. For something adorable in any season, it’s one-stop shopping at her Yorkville outpost. Her spring 2009 collection maintains the shtick with modern twists on sweet and playful retro looks. This collection is dominated by bright, springy colours like white, turquoise, pink and, as always, lots of flirty floral prints. Brides will find fabulous dresses straight off the runway.
