It’s strictly party frocks at this shop, but none of them are prissy: creations by this Ryerson grad (now an instructor) are grown-up, sexy and feature tastefully plunging necklines. Done exclusively in stretch fabrics, her designs cover a large range, from a strapless baby doll number in royal blue mesh with a wide, shocking red sash to a cocktail-length pinch-pleated crossover dress that’s popular with both brides and their maids. With literally hundreds of colours to choose from, the fabric swatch book resembles a deck of paint chips. Despite the drapey, flowy fabrics, the fit is surprisingly friendly; sizes go from zero to 14, with prices from $250 to $500.
