But dig deeper—this just might be one of the city’s best hunting grounds for designer pieces you won’t see on anyone else. Skip past the many matchy-matchy mother-of-the-bride ensembles and head straight for the clearance room in the back corner, where deep discounts abound. For example a black jacquard cocktail suit from Armani was marked down to $566 (from $1,885), and a classic grey tweed coat from Andrew Gn was $811 (down from $2,700).
