With almost 10,000 suits crammed into a small space, this Toronto legend looks more like a rummage sale than a designer outlet. But at these prices nobody’s quibbling. All-wool suits start as low as $175, and there’s almost always a three- or four-for-one sale going on, meaning you might get four suits for $700 to $1,500. Stock and brands change constantly, but you can usually find a Calvin Klein suit for $395 to $495, a Canadian-made Manzoni for $100 to $125 off list price, or one of Tom’s own in-house creations—made in Montreal from Italian fabrics in a slim, modern style—for $550 to $795. “And that’s without the discount,” says owner Tom Mihalik. Shirts go for $60 to $150, silk ties $50 to $75, dress pants $125 to $225. Womenswear is limited, but includes suits and sportswear.
