Stussy fashions are beloved by skateboarders and by those for whom skateboarding is a fond memory. In this, the California company’s first Canadian store, boarders can buy T‑shirts with fluorescent graffiti patterns ($35) and hoodies printed with cityscapes ($95). Those who’ve grown too long in the tooth to skate can browse the Deluxe line, featuring cashmere hoodies ($275) and Japanese raw denim jeans ($300). A friendly clerk refers to these items as “investment pieces.” To cater to a Canadian clientele, Stussy collaborated with the Canadian Sweater Co. of Vancouver. The result, a wool cardigan, is an unlikely though somehow very wearable blend of rustic Canadiana and street style ($500).
